Finally made some progress today 🙂 So today I finally got up into the pencil from an iguana mount. I watched myself on tape and I definately need more flexability in my legs so they aren't so far out from the pole when i first lift myself up. I also managed to do the pretzel spin that I saw on youtube by exdiva69. Still working on the superman, catapiller and butterfly to flatline scorpio.

Congrats! The Iguana mount is so intimidating! In regards to your comment about gaining more flexibility so you can start closer to the pole before bringing your legs up (I know there's a way to take a quote but I'm not sure how to do it): I remember my teacher talking about it and she said that if you are bringing your legs up in a v, then (while your spine is flush against the pole) your legs need to have a bit of distance from the pole. But if you're mounting by tucking your knees into your chest and then lengthening them up, then it might not matter. Good job on learning a new move!

I'm jealous I am still dreaming about doing the iguana and the pencil...that is awesome! I am still working on the caterpillar climb too I've been having such a hard time with it but I will get it eventually 🙂
