slower spins on a spinning pole

Hey everyone. just a quick question; although i cant pole at the moment due to injury, I am thinking over much of the moves rtc in my head and realised when i pole in spin mode my spin is actually very fast. I know this can sometimes be good but where slow music and looking graceful is concerned... It creates the opposite effect. So my question is, how do you keep the pole spinning but quite slowly? I love this look during pole dances ive seen before but cant seem to achieve it myself.

For me, spinning slowly is a case of literally just getting on the pole - no jump, no push, pretty much no leg swing at all. You have to be super super delicate like you're trying to sneak up on it :P

Kate is right, its not like static spinning where you need momentum from the body and limbs. Also, It will depend on how well your pole spins. If you have a nice fast pole then try to imagine your moving through water with your limbs....keep your movements sloooooow. If you have a pole that doesn't spin so well or looses momentum quickly then you will need to use a bit more force with the limbs to keep it spinning.
