I am sure this has been discussed many many times ... however, please help. I have a student in my class who is very very slippery! We have tried everything including gloves and even they slip because her hands are sweaty. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I feel like I can't help this poor girl move forward in pole I am always so afraid that she will get injured. Thank you

When I really want to stick I use a combo of Dirty Girl Poletice with Cramers grip spray on top. I am super sweaty and it does a pretty good job.

I've never used Dirty Girl Poltice but I always hear that recommended for sweaty hands. I don't have super sweaty hands but when I'm slipping lately I use (any of them) with Mighty Grip on top. In the past I just used Mighty Grip. I can attest that Cramer's is incredibly grippy and I can't imagine using it on my hands because I'm afraid it would injure me because of complete inability to slide or move my hands. My suggestion would be to try different combinations of a couple of products if you've tried all the products individually.
Tite Grip II has changed my (poling) life. It's amazing. And somehow it seems to work WITH the sweat to give me more grip. Though I love them for certain tricks (mostly holds for strength training or on spiny), Sometimes the Mighty Grip tack gloves are counterproductive because they make me sweat more and then my hands are slipping around inside them. I also wipe down the pole with rubbing alcohol after most sequences. Hope that helps!
drysol, it is a prescription anti-perspirant+ dry hands. or drysol+ mighty grip gloves.

Try stunt grip...it gets stickier with sweat. No residue or anything...just works well. Great for aerial apparatus too.

I'm super slippery I use dry hands and firm grip. Never would use again. Gymnast chalk only worked with lower level skills. Tote grip made me feel greasy. Gloves were terrible for me; I have a stronger grip without them. I'll be trying out dry body soon since my studio sells it n would b more than happy to let u know if I recommend it or not.
yes, DEw point and itac are really bad for sweaty hands..

I agree with PoleNika, stunt grip seems to be all the rage for a great hand grip aid right now. My partners and I (PoleMamas) have formulated our own grip, but it primerily works on the body although some of our customers use it on their hands.

Does stunt grip differ from regular sports rosin? I've tried regular rosin and it did nothing. I have palmar/plantar hyperhidrosis and have tried just about everything: Mighty Grip, DGP, Tite-grip II, Itac, gloves, Certain Dri, Drysol, and some others I can't think of right now. None of them have helped for more than 10 seconds. I got the samples of DryBody, and found that they reduced my sweat 25% the next day and then back to normal on subsequent days...haven't had the chance to see if I can get a cumulative effect from repeated applications. I'm so frustrated that I'm close to giving up on pole. I still want to try DryBody for longer, iontophoresis, and Stunt Grip if you think it is significantly different than regular sports rosin.
Killer D. Have you tried different combinations of all those grips as well? Many of us have found success by using 2 or 3 in combination.
