Shoe sizing question...

Well I've been very very tempted lately to make the plunge and buy myself some real dancing shoes and/or boots - eyeballing some Pleasers. Well the only time I actually looked, they didn't have them in half-sizes and somewhere recently I saw a post in a thread by Veena saying they don't make dancing shoes in half-sizes. 😲 This presents a problem for me - I'm a 6 1/2. Size sixes tend to be just a hair too short ( I have long toes... 😳 ) and the toe strap is usually too tight. Size sevens are usually ok except the toe strap is usually too loose across my toe (and they're almost never adjustable) and sometimes, depending on the style of shoe, the ankle strap is too loose on the areas that aren't adjustable. *sigh* Sometimes I hate my body... I have the hardest time finding anything that fits me right in any type of clothing or shoes. But all that to say that 6 1/2s are usually just right. So what do you other half-sizers out there do??? Just go to the next size. I measure at 10.5, but I wear an 11 in my pleasers.

OH. And with clear plastic, the strap starts out TIGHT AS WHOKNOWS and then you stretch it out with your foot. You shouldn't have too much of an issue. The shoes are cute, too. basic, but cute! I'm not fond of skye or adore... kiss is fine.. I like fetish and delight thus far. and I definitely hate hate hate party. something about the fit of shoe, I guess. I'm just weird.

Pleasers tend to run a size small in my experience so you might want to go bigger anyway. If you go with Zappos.com you can order two pairs in different sizes with free shipping and their return policy is fabulous so you can send the smaller pair packing. Theyre not the absolute cheapest but after you add shipping on most other sites, it pretty much ends up costing about the same.

I'm a size 9 in all my shoes/sneakers but I buy 10s in Pleasers. They are a little too long but 9s simply won't fit. I've had to ship a few back. Shoebuy is a good site cuz returns are free - at least they were last time I looked.

The shoes are cute, too. basic, but cute! Hehe I'm not a big shoe person. (I don't like shopping for shoes, I hate trying stuff on, etc. etc.) I just like plain and simple kinda stuff. The way I see it, the only people that are going to be looking at my shoes are shoe-aholics, anyway, so as long as they don't look stupid, I don't feel the need to impress anyone with my shoes. 😜 That sounds really mean but I don't mean it in a mean way; I just have a plain and simple style. Jeans and t-shirt for me when I'm off the pole! But thanks, everyone, I'll have to talk my husband into letting me get one pair for my birthday. (which is this week 😀)

Hey, just wanted to let you guys know my husband let me get 2 of those pairs of shoes as well as 3 items of clothing from SV! 😀 I got the boots, the Sky heels, the shirt, tank, and sweatshirt. 🥂 I ordered them last night so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll be here by the end of the week! I'm supposed to be going out with some friends on the night of my birthday (Friday) for a moms night out as well as for my birthday, so I would love to be sporting some Veena-wear. 😜

Hmmm...this is interesting...everyone seems to go UP in size??? I'm an 8.5 and go down...going up would be way to big! for me at least. I have even found that my sz 8 clear ellie tend to be a little too loose once the mtl is warmed up. Plus, I don't like the heel of my shoe extending further than my own heel. To each her own! Congrats on the new shoes and clothes!! 😀

im IN LOVE with those thigh high boots, those are amazing!!!!!! when i buy online, i always go a size bigger- im 7.5, but ill get an 8 online. i think that electriqueboutique.com has half sizes though 🙂

Roxy, I was just reading this going 'what the hell...' as well. I've had pleasers, highest heel, ellie and random no-name brands of stilettos and they have all had to be a size smaller than my normal shoe size. I'm a 10, and I take a 9 stiletto. I have wide feet as well, they're by no means small and dainty. If you get shoes that fit, or shoes that are comfortable, they will stretch quickly and become too big. If you try them on with a sheer stocking and you still have to squeeze your foot into them, they're the right size! And they take a few days of bandaids and pain before they fit properly, but then you're set. When I bought my first pair some body told me to go up a size, so I unknowingly got a size 11 and they lasted 1 week before they were too big. Maybe it's just because I get a lot of use out of them, I don't know. And a big Happy Birthday for Friday, Foxy!
