Sexy stripper shoe advice please.

Hey! I'm somewhat of a klutz. I wear kitten heels (2"), however I'm coveting a pair of stripper shoes. Just an abstract pair, I want to prance with heels, and I desire to prance now! On a more serious note, could you offer me any tips on procuring my first pair? Should I go down a size? Should I go with a smaller heel? Should I go with boots? I hear snazz75 is a kick ass site for shoes They seem to be fairly inexpensive, but I don't want to be stuck with a pair of shoes I'll ever dance in. Your help is much appreciated. Miss. Chief

I would suggest going to a near by store and trying them on. It is just like any other shoe, some run large, some run small. I would suggest starting with something that has a larger heel as opposed to a spike. Personally I love my boots but there are others that are all about shoes. Watch the material and the style as some are better for poling than others.

I agree with chem! I started with chunky heels/platform shoes because I was used to low heels, then graduated to a stiletto....and because sizes seem to vary so much it's best to go try them on. Good luck and keep rocking that pole girl!! *HUGZ*

I used to be a huge klutz wearing them too! Before I got into poling, I used to do some naughty modeling back in my day and wore stripper shoes with my outfits. I used to wear them around my house sometimes just so that I could get used to wearing them. Wearing them for an hour or so around the house will help you get used to them. Funny story, 2 years ago when I got married, I wore stripper shoes with my wedding dress. I wore them then entire day and my feet were so swollen the next day hahahah! Soon after I got into pole dancing and wearing the shoes just became easy for me because I was already used to wearing them. Practice practice!!!! It's like learning to walk in stilts! 😛

I love Ellie shoes. I'm a size 6 and have never had a problem with sizes ☀️ You can find them in many different websites, but I think I got mine thru amazon.com 🐱

Like Chemmie said, start with a chunkier heel. Cone heel, quarter heel. Where I go, we must wear those types of shoes in the studio for saftey reasons. Then work your way up to what you want. I currently wear a pair of Ellie's with a thinner heel and fish in them (I wanted something cheeky and fun). IMO, if they have the plastic ankle strap and foot base (like a 'My First Stripper Shoe'), I would get a size down since the plastic does swell after repeat wears. If they are a pvc, fabric or anything but the plastic, I would order in your normal street shoe size. Im currenty eyeing down a pair of Pleasers from the Bond Girl collection. They are 7.5 inchers and I would love to wear them for a particular song I want to do.

OMG, those are like 2000" heels 😀 Maybe for starters I can go down (or up in my case) to a 3". They are sexy though, I will concede that.

my advice is go to a real store where you can try on some sizes and brands, then shop online! i got a perfect fitting pair of ellies off ebay because i tried my size on in a store beforehand. also, on another note, i heard in a magazine or online that kitten heels are worse for your posture and spinal allignment than really high heels are. just a thought. 😳
