sexy flexy w/alethea workshop... need advice!!

hey ladies! i need some advice! i signed up for one of alethea's USPDF workshop before any descriptions were posted. i recently saw that the website has been updated and i'm in her sexy flexy. don't get me wrong-- her floorwork is amazing and i know i could learn from her. but here's the thing: i took class @ sfactor for almost 3 yrs. i am at home on the floor. where i'd really like to improve, at this moment in time, is on the pole! i barely know any transitions and i feel like there's a lot of basic stuff that i suck at. for $75... i'm not sure what to do. has anyone out there taken her floorwork workshop? what was it like? did you do any pole work at all? i'd love to meet her and take her class, and at this point the pole work workshop is already sold out.... i'm torn on what to do.

Hey Amy, I have taken her sexy flexy workshop and there is NO pole work in it. It focuses on stretching and floor moves only. I believe that you can change your workshop selection with the USPDF though, you can cancel that one and transfer your purchased workshop to a different one (Sophie did this) so it isn't too late to do another workshop if you don't want to do the floorwork 🙂 Fleur

I've yet to take one of her classes but if you can spare the money I 'd take the class.I'm sure You'll get something of value out of it 😉 😉

I took her sexy flexy workshop at USPDF regionals and we did do some pole work. She taught us a couple of transitions and some sexy ways to slide down the pole and come up onto the pole from the floor but that was it for pole. The majority of the workshop was flexy stuff and no pole tricks at all. If you want to focus on pole I'd try to change workshops but I still loved her class. Like Honeyrider said, you'll definitely get something out of it, but maybe not as much as youre looking for pole wise. 😀

thanks for all your feedback =) USPDF says they will give full refund with 72 hours notice, so i am going to ask for my $$ back. i just wish they had posted the descriptions when they posted the workshops, i signed up early so i could get spots in the classes i wanted! sigh-- oh well. i really appreciate all your input! 😀

FYI, alethea was kind enough to respond to a message i sent her about hte workshop... i'm going to stay in it =) "Yes i jsut looked that's the description they put up. Probably cause that's the class everyone always asks for. I change it around each time based on what girls want but its gonna be more focused on getting your body moving fluidly even in your tricks and into and out of them then us all standing around doing just. trick trick trick. the first part is deep stretching for your splits.. does that sound good to you? I split the girls up in groups too so there will be easy combos and harder inversions." Just an FYI in case anyone else out there was wondering =)

She is so damn sexy and it trips me out how she turns her sexy on and off. Like she'll be talking about a move and then she goes "like this" and does it and it's like bam! Sex just oozes from her. Then she stops and she's like "Get it?" LOL.
