Rotated joint issue ( X-pole )

This picture shows the rotated x-joint problem. Screw acess is impossible. I had seen this video on how to solve this problem long time ago( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2M3jmHUosR0 ), but it doesn't seem that this method will perfectly solve the issue(I think, even if I take the joint out, the same problem will happen again.)Because of this rotated joint, this pole makes a squeaking noise that is so bothering. I've checked on other poles too and found that this problem is occurring on other poles as well(about 5 x-poles). What should I do?

I do not know how old your poles are, but XPole redesigned their joint a few years back and this issue does not seem to be one any more. They were very helpful monetarily when I replaced mine at the studio where I was working. At worst you will pay about $20 US per joint. Here are pictures of old vs new. Thank you for showing the picture. Is the long one a new design? All of my poles have been purchased last year from an authorized X-pole seller in Korea. But the joint that I have is lower one in the picture that you've shown.

The longer X Joints is what X recommends for studio use. I am not sure if they replaced all of the 8" with 10" or if this is an option. As I stated, the center screw is now actually a screw instead of a pin type design. The pin would get pushed in and was unable to be pulled back out, thus making it necessary to replace the XJoint. The new design is a set screw that can be screwed in or out. I would contact your dealer or try to contact XPole directly and see what you can do. On top of that, start checking the joints on a daily basis, either when the studio opens or before going home for the night. It is just a really good preventive measure.

Standard sets differ with joint sizes depending on tube size. 40mm have 200mm and 250mm 45/50mm have 180mm and 200mm However, 250mm joints are always recommended for studio and Gym use regardless of tube size and now, due to the way poles are being used today X-Pole will only recommend and supply competition grade poles for studios and Gyms. In addition no studio or gym should use poles without a top Dome support plate or fixed mount. Safety has to be a priority in studio and gyms as any problem reflects on the whole industry.
