relocating to Ohio

Hello! I'm currently living in the Phoenix, AZ area but I am considering relocating back to Columbus, Ohio to be closer to my family in September after I graduate from college. Does anyone know of any good pole studios in Columbus? I'm really bummed because I just found a studio here in my area that I LOVE and offers exactly what I'm looking for in pole classes so I'm worried that I won't be able to find that in Ohio. I've looked on Google and didn't come up with any good results however I know there are studios hiding out there because the studio I'm at now didn't even come up in my Google search I actually heard about it from here😀 Finding a good studio before my big move would help ease my stress a little so any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

There are a couple of studios in Columbus. One is Studio Rouge in Grandview and another is Infinity in Worthington. I live in Columbus, too...would love to have pole jam buddy! :)

@polergirl do you go to either of those studios or have you ever taken classes at either? I think I tried to look at information about Infinity but was not able to get to a website for them. I would love to have a pole jam buddy as well! 😀

I've been to Infinity Dance & Wellness in Columbus a few times. They have a lovely variety and offer aerial silks if you're interested in that. I teach at Bella Forza Fitness in Cincinnati. So one day when you feel like taking a little hour and a half long road trip, come take a class with me! :)

That would be great too! I went to school in Cincinnati for about a year and made that hour and a half trip from Columbus so I would definitely be up for that occasionally 😀

I take classes when I can at infinity dance and wellness. She is updating the websight currently. She has great workshops too!

I am currently up in Cleveland and travel down to Columbus a few times a year. Val used to be here on SV but isn't so much any more. You have already heard of the two studios in the area. I have never been to Studio Rouge as they are a newer studio and it never seems like my schedule works with theirs when I am in town. I have been to Infinity quite a few times but mainly because I have gone down for workshops as she is pretty much the closest studio that will draw the "big names". There is also a group called Ohio Peace and Pole on facebook. If you send me your name I can friend you an add you to the group. A lot of the studios try to post on there when there are workshops or events.

Thank you! You all have been so helpful! All of these studios seem great I may have to check out them all! I feel so much better now about this move (even though it's a few months away still) knowing that there are some good studios close by 🙂

Let me clarify. I have been to infinity for several reasons I just have not specifically taken a pole class there. I realize that my previous post looks like the only reason I go is because she has workshops. That was not the intention of my post.

Jaimeleigh, where do you take class in phx? I was just there visiting family and took a private from a great lady at Pole Prowess.. Loved it

Kaylie, I am currently taking classes at Pole Prowess! I absolutely love it! I was taking classes at Pussycats Pole Dance and it was too much sensual dancing and not enough pole tricks for my taste. I think Prowess has the perfect balance of everything I'm looking for which is why I'm so nervous trying a new studio
