Have anyone used either of these products? I can't find any info saying that they are unsafe, so I am wonderng if they are worth a shot.

What are they used for?
I have taken both. I currently have Svetol from Swanson vitamins but I do not feel and have not seen any appreciable anything from it. I have a girlfriend who is very sensitive to caffeine who can only take a small amount and it has kept her lean when she was going through a lot of stress (she is low BF to start). Also, Starbucks now has their "Refreshers" drinks that have it. It is supposed to be a great antioxidant, too. I have also taken raspberry ketones but mixed with other fat loss agents. It has been around for quite some time and I am kind of proud to say that I know some of the guys that broke this into the supplement industry. It had been around for at least 5 years, if not longer. BSN Atrophex contains it and that is my going out pill. About 30 minutes after taking it I can actually feel a total sense of happiness come over me. It is weird but I can seriously feel when it kicks in. It makes me much more socialable and dampens the effect of alcohol on me. I have not tried it for weight loss....wait, maybe I did but about 10 days in I started getting ansy. I can try and dig up some information about them.
This was the study from back in 2005 that prompted a possibiliry. Back in 2005 ephedrine was still available so it was not that big of a deal. Seeing as ECl is not easily available in the states and that the FDA is going after those that have geranamine (1,3 dimethylamylamine), RK is gaining in popularity again. I will say that I get raspberry burps (similar to fish oil burps but much more pleasant). Also, as a TMI, there was a company that had made a lube that was silicone and RK's that was amazing. They sold it as a lube and as a massage oil. As a topical it brings more blood to the surface making those areas much more sensitive. I will just leave it there. For about 2 years they were hard to come by but it looks as if there are lots of sources now.
Interesting. I kinda figured about the raspberry burps. I could handle that. It gives you a euphoria? That sounds odd. Maybe when I can justify the expense I will try them.

I heard that aswell as being an anti-oxidant like someone already suggested, they are an appetite surpressant, so will stop you craving so much food if you are cutting down on your meals. Green coffee extract is actually being used in my work (Starbucks) for their new line of drinks, called "Refreshers." Basically, it's got more caffeine than a can of pop in one Tall one, so it'll get you going pretty good... doesn't taste like coffee, and all that. That's really all I've heard about it, and all I've heard it's good for.
I have been taking raspberry ketones for about 7 months and I love it, it kills my appetite, gives me a general feel good mood and lowers my blood sugar levels, I feel it is a big part of my weight loss success.

I was wondering the same thing. I read somewhere that some companies are putting EPHEDRA is their rasp ketones. WTF!?
Ephedrine is still safe when taken properly (and is still legal outside of the US). You have an issue when people start taking mass quantities of it. Not much different than downing a bunch of red bulls.
I'd still rather not take the risj. Heart problems run in my family.
Understandable. RK's are being touted as a fat burner so it is not surprising to me that some companies are blending it with other known fat burners.
I tried the Refresher drink! OMNOMNOM! I take Eden Pond brand, I have tried other brands and the ones with green tea and other extracts and I not only did not get the same results I felt ill, so I am sticking with what works.

What is the bio-availabilty like Chem? Are they full of fillers? With cheap vitamins.....they are full of so much "filler" that generally....all the good stuff doesn't get much absportion. I haven't seen these(but I haven't really looked yet) You have my attention....lol Off to do some research.....I am sure one of the supplement places around here carries them...

So, Chem. Is it the Razberi-K? This sounds awesome. I have a history of low norepinephrine, so it seems that this would be good for me. I'm not overweight, but of course it remains a struggle. Anything that can help it along would be great!
