"Showgirl" Climb

Hello, I was looking into doing the "Showgirl" Climb, and was wondering if anyone had any videos displaying this. The Showgirl climb is similar to a traditional climb, but is "prettier". I believe there is some swinging outward of the leg behind the pole, and requires more of a thigh hold. If you have any videos, please copy and paste the link. do you have a video? lol i mean you got that term from somewhere.... to me it sounds like you are describing the kind of climbing i usually see leigh ann doing. i'd search for leigh ann orsi in youtube and see if that's what ur talking about

hey T! this is also called a "show" climb 😀 start on the ground- put your right foot on pole as usual. as you step up to a stand, bring your left leg forward so it is straight; hisp should be in all the way (crotch to pole). lean a little towards your right leg so the pole is held in tension against your left thigh. bring your hands up, regrip, bring your right foot up to hook higher on the pole. bend your left leg and sweep it straight back and straighten it as you bring it forward again and stand. rinse and repeat!

Thanks, Girl. I wasn't bringing myself in close enough (or leaning to the right), or swinging the left leg out enough- that will come with stretching. I decided to record myself, and upload some new vids so I could better Identify my conflict. You do this perfectly!!

I mostly see her doing more of a spin-climb. I'll have to look into this one later on spinny. I can do it on static. I LOVE that she has legs for days! Helps me figure out what to do with mine. LOL!!

I'm trying it in my "Waiter" video upload around 3:28. I think I need to bring my body in closer, and widen my kicks. Ahhhh stretching!!
