i am trying to find the best (&safest) Permanent spinner dance pole. i am looking into poles at Platinum Stages & hardcore poles. i just wanted to ask if any of you had any *bad* experiences with either of these brands OR if you have any suggestions of what to look out for. thanks for the info! && sorry if someone else had posed a similar topic, i looked & didn't see one. 🌸

I've heard good things about platinum poles, dunno really anything about hardcore poles... I have a Lil Mynx tho and I LOVE it! If you do get a Lil Mynx I would recommend the stainless steel, not the painted surface, cuz those can chip and they're not as good texture for spins. But other companies do other materials such as brass, titanium, etc which may be better for certain uses?? From what I've heard, in most cases switching between any of those materials can take a little getting used to but a lot of it is personal preference; I've only ever used the stainless steel though so maybe someone else can help elaborate more if you're deciding between materials!

i have a black lil' mynx black powder coated pole and its great, i don't like the lil mynx stainless poles its very slick. I always have the best grip on my pole. but i would definitely recommend getting the rotator pole if you go with lil' mynx.

I have heard good things about hardcore poles...I was even checking them out because I'm looking for a one pc spinning brass pole.
Wow, that hardcore pole sounds awesome. Just to throw another name in there: PoleDanzer. My teacher had a permanent one in her home studio & one of my bosses bought removable ones for her studio. I really like the pole itself. Unfortunately, the removable ones are mounted on a base that's probably a bit bigger than 1 square foot (kind of gets in the way) & is about 1 inch in thickness. I despise the base but love the pole. My teacher feels that Robert really understands the mechanics of how a pole is made. Hope this helps a little.

Just my 2 cents: I have a Platinum Stages and a Lil Mynx. While I am fine with both of these I love the PoleDanzer which I purchased for myself for Christmas. The spinning mechanism in the pole makes for excellent fluid motion in rotating. I've been teaching on PoleDanzer since then and it is still as fluid today as when I made the original purchase. That said, I cannot say that it is the same for either my LM or PS rotators. I found the rotating mechanism in my PS wore out much quicker than anything else. My students have had nothing but praise for the PoleDanzer poles as well. I'm not sure if you plan on using the pole for high volume, like I do, but regardless I think you want the best value for your money.

i have another silly question. i will be attaching the pole to a cement floor (& obviously a beam in the celing) what tools/bolts do you use for that? the cement part... thanks!
I have a platinum stages permanent pole in my basement which has a cement floor. My husband used the screws that came with the pole but went to home depot to get anchors made for cement. He used a regular power drill to drill the hole. He didn't use anchors in the ceiling. My ceiling has wood joists covered with drywall. Hope this helps! 🙂

i just placed my order with hardcore poles for a 9' spinner! i'm so excited! i hope it gets here soon! they are like 20 miles down the street from me so i m hoping it makes it here real quick 😀 &&& i hope i picked the right company to buy from (keep your fingers crossed for me) cant wait!!!

I am so glad that you posted this topic... I have been stressing out over buying an xpole or a Hardcore pole! I have been saving up for 6 months now and I am finally ready to buy one. The reason I like the Hardcore poles are because they have no joints and they have 12 ball bearings which is supposed to make for a better spin. Please let me know when you get yours and how you like it. I am placing my order with Hardcore Poles right now...LOL 🌈

The spin on the X pole is really smooth, it doesn't take any effort at all to start it rotating. I happen to LOVE permanent poles the first pole I bought was a permanent. My only complaint was having to keep it in the room I first set it up in and I wasn't able to take it with me when I moved because the ceiling height was not the same. If you do go with a permanent pole be vary careful to measure well, if you have carpeting don't forget to account for that, the pole will settle into the carpet a bit. Mine fell down on me because we didn't press into the carpet when we measured 😲 LOL.

holyshit! i totally didn't push into the carpet! but it's a 9' pole & they only offered them in feet (8', 9', 10 & so on) so i hope it will work! if not i'll bust my ass & y'all can all LOL @ me 😀
