Questions about StudioVeena Pole Installation

My pole room is almost ready and I am getting very close to ordering the pole. But first I have a couple of questions: How long is the screw that comes with the pole and what size is the drill bit? I have cement slab ceilings. I am mounting a wood plaque to the ceiling and will install the pole to the wood plaque. I can only drill in 3/4" into the ceiling as I live in a high-rise and don't want to hit a "suspension cable" (I was advised to install a piece of wood to the ceiling with masonry screws. I will need to buy a masonry bit). Actually I have a handy man doing the job, but want to be prepared with the right tools. Also, my ceiling is 9 feet tall. Should I order the 8-9 foot or 9-10 foot pole? And, will the "skid" pad be secure on tile floors as well? Thanks!
