Hi, Everyone i was wondering about the differences...if any, With the sport or expert poles. I already know i want titanium gold for the finish and 45mm. Do the sport/expert spin really good, Are they really easy to set up, ETC. Thanks

The x pole sport doesn't spin it is a static pole the xpert is a static/spinning pole which you change by adjusting some screws
I am so glad that I got the xpert instead of the sport. Even though I don't practice on spin mode that often, it's great knowing when I am ready to get serious about learning on spin mode that I have the option. IMO it's worth it to get the xpert just to have the option of going from static to spin if you choose to later down the line.
I have the 45mm tg xpert. I too love the fact that I have the choice to put it on spin mode if I want too(although I admit, I seldom do). If you are investing in a pole, I suggest getting one that gives you Everything that you could want.

I like my Xpert, sometimes if I'm feeling frustrated by my lack of strength and spinning momentum I switch to spinny just to let loose and have fun :D
I am also glad I got the xpert (static/spin). I don't use spin as main mode, but when I do attend a pole studio that has spin as part of class or workshop, it's good to be able to practice it at home. It does go from spin to static with loosening of screws, I wish it was easier like the pin in platinum stage or the SV Lil Mynx pole. I have to decide which mode I'm using and use little tool to go from one mode to the other during practices. That being said, I love my xpole xpert 45mm titan gold. I also have a chrome one and switch between hot/cold weather.
X-Pole has spent a considerable amount of time testing all types of Static and Spinning locking design’s/mechanism’s and in our view to date – that’s not saying we do not have some new ideas – the use of the 2x Hex screws to change from static and spinning , whilst not being the most convenient, is the most stable. One of the comments we hear regularly is about pole movement whilst in Static mode, i.e. the pole moving fractionally back and forth during use. The way to see this is to put the pole into static mode and rock it back and forth and see how locked it is. Does it move when locked! Does it go click, click when rocked? If an X-Pole is locked correctly there should not be any movement from the static and spinning mechanism and the screws are the reason for this stability. We are constantly developing new functionality for X-Poles and the ease of use of our Static and Spinning mechanism is at the top of our list. We hear your requests for an easier method to convert between static and spinning and we are working on it hard. However, if we do a new version for X-Pole it must be a total lock (as good as our current version) without any movement from the mechanism. Setting X-Pole Static and Spinning - Once again we would like to advise about the best way to set the X-Pole static and spinning screws. Fully Tighten one of the screws first. to do this align the 1st screw with the X on the base. Tighten it till it seats/touches. Now fully tighten it whilst gently rocking/rotating the pole back and forth (just a little) as you tighten it. This slight rocking movement allows the screw to seat square (at 90°) to the flat part on the base shaft. Next fully tighten the 2nd screw. Doing this will ensure a 100% tight pole which will not come undone or loosen. We hope you will all now understand our reasoning behind X-Pole using 2x Hex screws for static and spinning. Considering getting the Xpert as well..but I saw some people say the bolts that connect it to the ceiling get loose??!??!
I went over my budget and got a stage pole. I got the one by PS, star stand alone, but xpole makes one as well, xstage lite or xstage . I dont have to worry about it coming loose from the ceiling but every pole has its "worries" lol. I got this mainly becuz my ceiling/drywall didn't handle the floor to ceiling pole well. I miss my Lil Mynx tho!
Even tho a stage pole will have some wobble, mine is basically maintenence-free. My daughter may get the xpert. I use one at the studio and it feels wonderful.

Might go with the x stage lite, Cause like you said i would not have to worry about slipping. They dont come in TG though and that is what finish i want, How does the brass do in very cold weather and with sweaty hands?
Just remember stage pole and secured pole can be very different. I would suggest trying one out somewhere before you for out the extra cash, especially if it isn't in the finish you want. I like the stages, but I do find it different than my secured pole. Personally I prefer brass over TG, but that is just me.
skyember, be careful about selecting finish of pole based on what works for others. Everyone is different and different finishes work for different polers. I started with stainless steel lil mynx years ago. While it served me well for first couple years, I had to move to different finish. THEN became the decision struggle. I ended up with a chrome and titan gold and switch between the two. Not sure when/why I switch . In fact I've had my titan gold up for sometime now. I put it up in winter and haven't taken it down for summer. I'm considering putting my chrome up again since it's just standing in the corner 😲. I've also tried brass at different studios and was a no go for me. Others bought brass and struggled, others love it. That being said, I love my 45mm xpert titan gold. It has it's good days/bad days depending on weather and ME 😉 Good luck.
Agreed^^. It really just comes down to body chemistry, your geographical climate, and personal preference. I as well have had the chrome xpert and just recently( literally-it's still in the box lol) upgraded to the TG but my friend has one and I am ASTONISHED at how grippy it is-I did leg swithches from TOP to BOTTOM in JEANS!!! what the...??? haha i'll take it ^_^
The X-Pole design team are constantly innovating and improving our product and on many occasions we do not shout about it. We have specifically designed and built a new polishing machine which has significantly improved the surface finish of all our poles, especially the Chrome. A higher polish and surface finish means higher grip. So, our latest Chrome poles have a much better grip factor than previously. In addition, we have found over the last 6 months of testing that cleaning the Chrome poles with X-Clean which has been specially formulated for pole cleaning and gets off virtually any grip product, leaves the pole really clean and improves the Chrome pole grip even further. Just recently at a UK competition X-Clean was used over 30+ performances and the competitors commented on how grippy the Chome poles were! Sorry to say X-Clean is only available in USA at present keep watching the X-Pole web sites for when its released elsewhere. In UK will be hopefully October latest. X-Pole Tech Team

I dont have a studio near where i live or i would go to one. I heard good things about TG poles and thats why i was considering getting one. I have a chrome pole and it is slippery alot of the times. I am wanting a pole that will provide more grip. but also be good with my body type and climate. I have very sweaty hands when i pole so i was also going to try dry hands. Thanks

TG is not a good option for sweaty people! Brass works well, but then can be temperamental in cold weather. But it might be a good option if you sweat even in the cold weather. I've been really sweaty with the heat and humidity here, and my SV pole is working out really well. It's been the least temperamental pole I've had and I have every finish.
brass is better for sweaty hands than any of the other finishes, imo. You may still slide, but the added grip helps counteract that a bit. If you get really tacky on the body, the pole can really over grip on the body and that starts to suck. lol. For me, brass has good grip in all weather, but I am a sticky girl!
I'm really sweaty and my favorite finish - though I haven't tried brass - is TG. I prefer it to the chrome that I use when I go to the studio.
