Question about X-pole spin mode

Hi everyone. I tried out the spin mode on my X-pole yesterday and I noticed that it doesn't spin 100% evenly or smoothly. I checked its positioning and tried straightening it up (as it had moved slightly since I first put it up). The spirit level said it's 100% straight and still the spin mode isn't 100% smooth and I can hear a sound when it's spinning. I've only ever used a spinning "stage" X-pole where the pole wasn't tension mounted and didn't notice this problem then. Any advice? I don't want to damage the pole (or risk damage to myself). :) Thanks.

It's usually a sign of an over tightened x pole. Try slightly loosening it so it's not braced so tight against ceiling. X joints should be equally tightened and make sure the little line and key symbol at base are lined up if a 2014 model. You can contact x pole for advice too.
