Question about SPINNY mode on X-Pole

Great news, I was able to get my x-pole up tonight! 🤸 ☀️ I am so excited!! One concern of mine is when I am on the pole, when I set it to Spinny mode, it seems to spin VERY slow compared to the poles at the studio that I work out at the studio (I think the poles that the studio are Platinum Stages Super Pole Multi Piece according to their site) Is it normal for the X-pole to have such a sluggish spinny? It seems like when I go to spin it with my hand it seems to slow down even go backward a little. I have read and re-read the instructions, as well as watching the instructions for x-pole instalation. Have you experienced this? Any response would be great. Thank you Veena ladies. 😂 You guys rock.

Have you tried to spin on it on spinny? I have an x-pole and it doesn't spin very much on it's own but when I'm on it...boy does it spin!

Actually, I did try to spin when I was on it as well and it did keep spinning with my body on it. (Which is great, just not the spinning speed I am used to) I am wondering if it is just a difference between X-pole and Platinum stage or if it is something I cannot figure out that I am doing wrong with installation.

so even when you were on it it still didn't spin as much as you'd like?

Really it is just not what I am used to, as far as speed and ease of spin. Just a big difference. I am questioning the installation, like I said I followed the directions to a 'T' but maybe the top isn't flat enough against the ceiling, or it is too tight against the ceiling. I don't know, just scratching my head with it tonight. ❓

Do you have the pole too tight, if its over tightened ( I have done this before) it will not move as freely as it should. I have had friends say my X pole spins much faster than their PS poles. I would double check to make sure its not overly tight 😀

I'm going to double check that and see if it too tight. Thanks for the help. My boyfriend suggested that it might be too tight also. Other than this I'm so happy to have my pole. 😀 **perfect example, of how happy i am to have the pole, i ran out to the living room when i woke up this morning ot give it a quick visit before i went to work. lol! 😂
