Does anyone know where I can find music with a sound similar to that of "On The Beach" of the Queen of the Damned Soundtrack?? I absolutely love the feel of that song and just can't figure out where to go to find more like it. Any ideas? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqiArH6xbrI

If you know the name of the song then I would suggest Pandora. You can use that song as a seed and it will find other songs of similar style. I have also found new music through iTunes. Usually if you type a song in they will also have other artists that are similar in style. Those are my best 2 options for you.
Try just searching for Celtic violin on Youtube and iTunes. In general not quite as dark but there is some good stuff that is very similiar.

SO this song doesn't have the violin you are looking for.. But it has a lighter sound and you might like it? Chaiyya Chaiyya .. it's by Sukhwinder Singh & Sapna Awasthi and try Lux Aeterna off the Requiem for a Dream Soundtrack -- that soundtrack has creepy violins Let me know how it works!

another thing I like to do is, If I know the artist, I will go to itunes and pull up every song and listen to it. They only give you 30sec to sample and if you know the beat you can find it. Thats how I found Gods Gonna Cut You Down by Johnny Cash. You could also look up the soundtrack for the movie and it should list all the songs on there, and let you sample it.
Its very Romani or Indian sounding. You might want to start with that--and Pandora is a great way to discover some cool songs!

Unfortunately Pandora doesn't work for this particular Singh because the "artist" makes soundtracks specifically and none are similar to this 🙁 I've found some gypsy type music but it's all so light. I love the darkness of this song. I'll try out some other suggestions and let you all know if anything hits 🙂

This is kinda long but if you are still in need for the song, this is what i do...if you have fire fox its easier! Take firefox and download helper(a toolbar helper search through firefox apps for it) Then take the youtube video of it, download the video then convert it to a mp3! Free studio manager is the program i use it takes some steps but its great for those hard to find songs--or even for free songs! Good luck.! 🦌
