PS pole woes...epoxying a coupler??

I cannot even go in to all of the issues that the owner of my studio has been having with PS. The latest is that both of her skinny poles clack and move when in static mode. It is not a fun sound. When she spoke to PS they knew exactly what the problem was and told her she need 2 part epoxy and to take down the poles and epoxy the coupler. WTF?? Has anyone had to do this before? I am going to go out and help her and I really want to be sure we are doing what is right. Needless to say, customer service has NOT been helpful at all.
