PS Pole Spinning..... while on Static....

Has anyone had this issue?I started a spin, and my pole decided to spin with me..... while on static. The pin is still firmly in its slot, in fact the base with the pin moves as well. I am wondering if perhaps something has become stripped inside my pole, I'm going to try to take it down in the next two days to see if I can find something physically wrong with it -something I haven't done since I got it, I must admit, due to how much trouble it is. But I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience, is it something I can get fixed or should I be freaking out?
