Problem with my Xpert.? :(

Okay so I've had my pole for a while, but haven't really used it like I should.. it's just been sitting here maybe getting used once a week (aside from my son who is 50lbs and loves to see how fast he can go. It's kinda sad that he's better at poling than I am). Today I started out hooping and got all warmed up and decided to take a spin on the pole. I was so thrilled that I can actually do stuff on the pole without having to use my legs (finally, been working on this for a while.. very weak I am ;p) that I actually just did that for 20 minutes or so, just holding on, doing pole ups, pole sit, etc. I then decided to go into a sunwheel, I got some momentum, got maybe ¼ of the way into the spin and my pole came down completely. Luckily I have a crash mat and I was holding the pole up when it came down so it did not hit me, but when I shaked it off, I started looking over the dome, and I notice that there is a piece of the ring that is bent in. The dome is fine, but the ring itself is pushed in in one area, maybe about ½ inch long. Will this cause a problem when I put my pole up? Could this be the reason why my pole came down? Any suggestions on what I should do to fix it? I really want to use my pole again but I need to know will this dent in the ring cause it to lose pressure and make my pole come down again. 😢 was totally feeling good about my dancing today and I brought the whole thing down.
