There are many different opinions on pole dancing during pregnancy but I will say that most studios will not allow you to continue to dance if you are pregnant. It's something you need to also discuss with your instructor and give him/her the chance to address this with you. Our students sign a waiver that they cannot take classes once they are pregnant and are responsible for letting us know as soon as they find out.

I stopped a soon as I found out, but that's me, and actually while I still did floor work and some very very light dance occasionally, I basically stopped any real advancement or strain. If you are in very good shape, I don't see why you couldn't continue with some (emphasis on some) basic stuff at home. just be Uber super careful! Talk to your doctor and all that jazz ;)

Here are some other threads on this subject. You do want to address your studio to see what their policy is. https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/who_else_is_pregnant_and_poling_20110729060130 https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/pregnant_and_poling_2009-11-18_143715
I am a studio owner and don't allow it. However, I am expecting now and considering not instructing classes anymore or considering an assistant to demo moves.
@ninjademochick I will still do floorwork. Thanks for the advice. I'm currently still teaching Zumba.
