What's yours? I'm comfortable in a 5 3/4 in heel but want 6-6 1/2 😜 I also like the look of working out barefoot but the heels lean me out nicely. I've tried 8 in and almost twisted an ankle 😳 oh btw i'm 5'8"

i like 5 3/4 also. I have some 6 inch ones with a 2 inch platform and I dont feel as comfy dancing in those. My 5 3/4 inch pleasers are my go to pole shoes 🙂

7in is my heel of choice. It helps make proportion my legs with torso. It would be 8in but they always break. My boyfriend calls me the shoe destroyer. If you go larger make sure you have a supportive ankle strap although I recommend an ankle strap for any non pump platform. For several reasons your ankle safety most importantly and the safety of others and things in 30ft of you. I went for a reverse grab with 6in sandal platform and it flew across the room and took the paint off the wall! 😲 lesson learned. Also barefeet, half socks, capezio foot undies, and modern dance half sandals. All of those are easy to get at a dance site and are great when my feet feel torn up. Maybe try on a pair at a sex toy or lingerie shop? If there are none around Halloween superstores are also good for that and if it is a temporary store you might get great deal!
Ive been wearing 6 inchers pretty much as long as ive started pole. I started with a cone heel and got down to the skinny heels. I really want a pair of 7.5 inchers. Im 5'4 so I look for anything to get some height on me.

Oh i have them in all sizes (im a shoe freak), not all the quarter sizes though. I guess im asking because Im wondering if you guys have been able to increase height as you've gotten better at pole or does preferrence usually stay the same? 🤔
my first and only pair of dancing shoes are 6" with a 1 or 2" platform. i find them comfortable but i wouldn't mind going higher, although i don't like the look of 7+" because the platforms look big and clunky to me lol
Hi MichelleH! The ones that I bought to start off with and that I consider my "everyday" pole shoes are the Pleaser Allure 609 ...I really like them, I feel way comfortable dancing in them.

I like anything between 5 and 7 inches 🤸 I find the 7 inches even a little "clunky" but I like to get the look of long legs (since mine are so short). I think 5-6 inches is best for graceful dancing 🐱
I like 5-6 inch heels. I'm kind of scared/intimidated by taller heels. 😨
I love the six inch heels theyre easiest to dance in. 7 inches mean you mean business

I have a pair of 6" that I like. It was really surprising to me that I could walk and dance in them because I am a looser on heels usually and never wear them. Then I bought myself 6 3/4" And they are scary! I almost tripped and broke my ankle just trying to walk in them at home and they are heavy so its impossible for me to do a handspring in them for example it messes up my balance. But I am hoping to break them in soonish and get used to them because the look gooooood 😛 Should be possible...
I seem to be the opposite. I started with 6 in shoes and I still like them. However if I pole in public I prefer 4 in ones. I'm tall and thin as it is, so I feel more comfortable in the shorter ones. Also my ceiling isn't as tall so if my heels aren't as tall I have more "room." If I was shorter, I suppose I'd favor the 6 in ones probably.
