I need some advice. I'm getting my xpole powder coated. (It just too slick, it's over a year old). Do I need to put something in the wholes before I take it to get powder coated?

I had my chrome pc'ed two years ago. When you go in you will have to show them the holes and stuff and they will tape it off before coating it. I have pictures of my pole after it got coated on my page. The album is titled purple pole.
Thank you sexy. I saw your pole. Pretty color. I haven't decided what color I'm getting. Black or pink. When you got your pole painted. Did it help with grip? I hope it does.
Yes, I did notice it was much grippier than before. Think it did help me better in staying on the pole. So good luck and enjoy! :) Make sure to take pictures before you send in your pole, just for your consumer protection.

What finish do you have on your x pole. Why do you think it is so slick? Thanks.
Md5677. It's chrome. It's super slick. I can't even grip it without my hands sliding. I've tried every thing grips, etc. I sand papered it ( which made it worse ). I feel this is the only option left.

Where can u take it to get it coated ?
You should be able to find people who do it locally in your yellow pages or searching on the internet. Sometimes automotive body shops can do it. Make sure to call around to get the best price possible. It was about $65 for mine.
Sexyrockstarswife. I took my pole in today. I went with black. What do you clean your pole with?
I cleaned it with a 50/50 mix of vodka and water. I'm sure a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water would work just as fine.
wich kind of stores do the poder coated process as i seem not to find any in portugal
