POSSIBLE SLUMBER WEEKEND POLEJAM IN OCT (atlanta)

Greetings everyone :) My bornday is coming up soon and I had a great idea. I wanted to have some sort of pole jam but I wanted it to last a couple days if possible. So I've decided to see who would be interested in coming to atlanta (that is if you are a reasonable drive away from the area) for the 3rd weekend in october. if so let me know. I've already thought about what hotel rooms we can possible look into getting. Im not forseeing tons of rooms unless you have an issue with sharing rooms but maybe 2 or 3 at the most. we can all help chip in or bring snacks so the cost would be easier on everyone. I want this to be simple and smooth for everyone so we can have lots of fun. If this is something you would be interested in feel free to leave comments and/or thoughts. Have a wonderful week *hugz*

great :) My teacher who is also on here...skittles will be there too. yay im so excited already. I already hit up another poler in augusta, hopefully she can come with her sis too. 😀 thats whasup u stay in duluth...not too far from the city. im in marietta but im mostly downtown at the bestis house.

Awesome :D I'm going to start doing walkthroughs on possible locations next week. Will keep u ladies posted with updates up until it gets closer. Also go ahead and post an email addy u check daily so I can send an evite out when I confirm hotel with all the important info. Enjoy ur day chicas....ttysoon :)

quick question. I thought it would be more worth our money to stay at a spot where we can cook if we want to to help keep the cost down. I have stayed at ExtendedStayDeluxe before and its not the prettiest room but its big, roomy, has a FULL kitchen, 2beds, but the furniture is out of date. Im not super picky but I didnt want to make any decision without atleast asking before i go further with plans. So my question is...are you really all that picky where we stay as long as we have food and room to put poles up? or would you rather stay in a little nicer/smaller with no kitchen(and we would have to find food when hungry) Let me know if you can lol. No matter where we end up i am suggesting bringing your own blanket/sheets/pillow if you can...but thats just me its not required though. so what is it gonna be ladies...old school room w/kitchen or new school w/o kitchen?

My Dad lives in Atlanta so I will most likely stay the night at his place. I don't get to see him that much so this way I get a visit in also.

Maybe you can look into renting a pole studio overnight? Then everyone brings a sleeping bag. I think i saw a video like that at Vertical Joes.

That is great idea but my back wouldn't allow me to lay on the ground and even attempt to sleep lol. I'm probably going to go ahead and reserve the extended stay suite with the full kitchen...we can all be comfortable and eat what we want. Plus we can still go to vertical joes if we want :)

Well ladies I checked the prices for vertical Joes studio rental..... Go see for yourself. And if you all want to chip in 150/per person (to rent up to 6hrs), by all means lets do it. I'm still going to rent the room I planned and bring my poles to set up....and hopefully u lovely ladies can join me. Oh here is the link for joes studio rental prices. I will supply the room and i just want people to come hangout pole and laugh together. Please give me the exact dates, so I can see if it will benefit me to drive there or take a flight. I want to meet more pole friends to help me in my journey. I love to cook, writing a cooking book actually, dont mind being the cook!! and I cook everything : )

Jpolelove---aww your so sweet you musta known i love to eat but leave the cookin to the experts lol. Ok as far as the dates go..they will be oct. 22nd-23rd...but go ahead and wait until friday to make any arrangements. i want to make sure i get the room confirmed and whatnot just in case ya know. I also have a meeting this week and I need to triple check that weekend is a go for me too so thats why i say wait until friday if you can. i will email your addy directly when i do and update this post :)

@val no worries babez...if you cant make it i totally understand. im sure we will get to pole together soon anyway. Okay ladies...I confirmed the room for the slumber jam. I had to change the date due to a work conflict so I totally understand if you arent able to make it this time. I will try to do another one real soon so we can hangout and pole again :) esp for the ones who want to come but cant this time. The evite will be out later this week but just so you know now..... Date: October 8-9, 2011 (no its not required to stay the nite but you are welcome to :) time: tba address: Extended Stay Deluxe Atlanta-Marietta-Powers Ferry Road 2010 Powers Ferry Road NW Atlanta, GA 30339 The room I got was around $85 (on hotels.com) with tax so its not bad, in case any of you want to book a room too if not you are welcome to crash in my room. I will have 2 queens and a pullout sofa, plenty room for poles and im moving furniture.... plus a full kitchen so we can eat eat eat :) if you cant make it just shoot me a note on my inbox if u can and u havent already please leave me your personal email address for the evite.
