Poling with a Port

Hello all :) For life reasons and health reasons I haven't poled in 8 years and am SO sad it has been so long. I am finally getting back to it but due to health reasons I have a cath port just above my left breast. Medically I am fine to pole I just have to be careful of the port and not strain it/bang it into the pole. Just wondered if anyone else is poling with a port and if so, any tips?

Welcome back! I feel like years ago someone here danced with a port, but I can't recall who. It's not something I'm familiar with but obvious things would be to avoid Flag Grips and Front arm pit grips in general. Listen to your body, and if you need help with modifying a move let me know!

Thanks Veena! I'm slowly building up to actually climbing but I will probably take you up on modifications when I get there!
