poling in Kauai?

Hi Veeners! My husband and I are planning a trip to Kauai in April. Of course, I'll be dying without my pole, and was wondering if any of you islanders would like to meet up for a pole jam? Also, any good areas out there with bamboo forests? While I was in Maui, I had some fun poling on the bamboo:).
