For those of you who have poles in places like living rooms and kitchens, what are some of the responses you receive from guests?

Mine was in my living room, people are either curious about it, ignore it or ask if I can teach them something. I've never had a negative response and I think it is a good opportunity most times to educate people on the wonderful world of pole sport and dancing.
Most guests are curious. A good percentage of them play a bit... Service people (delivery, carpet layers, chimney sweeps...) COMPLETELY ignore it. I always chuckle when they leave!

My friends kids ALL love playing on the poles. Most everyone in my house already knows I pole, so there's usually not much of a reaction. My favorite is when I guy comes over & takes a swing on the pole, then he has to give me credit for being strong enough to pole. The furniture delivery guys & cable guy my house as the one with a stripper pole.
I have only ever had one seriously negative rection to them and it was by my ex and ex mil. They hated it when I had it in our living room when we were together and they hate that there's a whole bunch of them in my living room now.
