Hey everyone, I'll be moving to the Portland area in a couple of weeks. Does anyone have a favorite studio or instructor? Thanks

I'm actually moving away from Portland in a few weeks.. sad! So I started with Ecdysiast Pole studio, if you google pole in Portland they will be the first people to come up. I had a great time but as a complete newbie with no upper body strength had trouble keeping up with their beginner class. Because of my work schedule I ended up switching to SV. I would say try them! They are focused more on tricks than dance and really push everyone into what Veena calls intermediate to advanced moves pretty quickly. I was taught to invert at 8 weeks in! But I really feel like if you already have experience poling it may work really well for you. There are 6 to 8 other pole studios in Portland that I didn't ever get a chance to try, pole is well accepted here (of course) so there are a lot of people to learn from! Welcome to Oregon!
