Pole is bent or twisted...

Just got this 2 days ago. Today I was spinning it around looking at it, and realized the pole is warped. That is, it does not rotate around it's center as it should. Rather, it has an orbit around the center and thus clearly has a bend in it or is torqued somehow. I read another user on this forum had this problem and have contacted the seller (xpole asks to contact point of sale in manual it appears) but wanted to know if anyone has seen this or knows about it? Clearly it is defective, and I hope my replacement does not have this problem. It was impossible to notice in static state of course, and also hard to notice when USING the pole obviously. But when rotating it and watching it, you can see that it has a bow in the middle somewhere. Anyway, any help on illuminating this problem would be nice as I am disappointed...

First question, are you sure you are level in 2 planes?

Hi, Yes both ends are flush against flat (and parallel) surfaces and I used a level and verified the pole was perpendicular to floor and ceiling. There is no question the poles are warped. I verified this by taking it apart and rolling the poles across a flat surface (tested with known straight objects) and sure enough, they don't roll flat. It is the 2 long or "Main" poles that show warping.

Rolling the two sections on a flat surface is just what Xpole will ask you to do to test the pole sections so you should go through your seller for further advice now that you've determined they are truly bent and they will assist you from there.
