Have you guys seen this video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qwvc-RUKOSM I know that spinny poles are more dangerous, but i can't believe they let this happen! thank god it seems like the girl didn't get too hurt.

Was that an X-pole? I hope she is okay! How awful! I wonder what the outcome was? Seriously - removable poles MUST be checked when they are in spin mode. I have had a PS pole come down in spin and watched a friends video of her X-pole coming down while she was on it in spin mode. She had just checked the pole before it came down too. So always be cautious and ofcourse the crazier, faster you go on spin the more likely it is to come loose - so just keep tightening and checking.

This is one fear I have about competing....I know MY pole is put up right and I can and do check it everytime...but I don't know that I trust other people putting up a pole. 😲 I don't even know that I would trust a permanent pole. I didn't install a permanent pole right and it fell down on me. 😲

MAN, she took that like a soldier! In my opinion, I think she layed there to make sure she still alive. I'm sure that was a BIG shock to be spinning up right one minute and then feel yourself falling the next. I hope she was ok! 😮
Was that an xpole put up on scaffolding??? She took one hell of a fall, i would have just layed there never mind getting up in a graceful way! you think people standing by the stage would have noticed the pole moving sooner.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! 😲 😲 😲 And it was such a beautiful performance up until that!!! When she did fall though there was some SERIOUS spin on that pole!!! I understand why you'd be scared about competing Veena. Like you said, YOU know YOUR pole is put up properly... She recovered herself so well though didnt she?! 😲

Wow 😲 that was so scary! She was doing a fabulous job until the pole came down. I would have loved to see the rest of her routine! Let's just hope that she wasn't injured!! Poor thing!
