i am looking for any and all pole "falls" or drops. i know there is the superman drop and the holly drop .. just wondering if there were any others and if there's any links to vids or tutorials...? 🫡 😀 🥂

Karol has a tutorial on the superman fall on YouTube... don't have the link off hand but it shouldn't be too hard to find

i have done the superman into chopper "drop" but the superman into scorpio i just cant seem to get 🤔 the holly drop no matter how many times i watch it and study the moves, i just dont seem to have the guts (or total understanding of what to do when) to do it. she is one brave girl w some of the moves she pulls off! thanks for the links! ☀️

There is also a nose dive and the "sad girl" drop, again not as scary of a drop but still impressive. Veena just did a video of one that she posted up.

Depends how you define a drop, I guess... Is the nose dive an Inverted Crucifix Slide starting up the pole and stopping inches/cms from the ground? I've seen a Jade Split dropped and caught. Actually... heaps of single moves could be dropped/slid and caught, probably... or dropped and caught with another move. I've caught hip holds and jade splits by twisting into a thigh hold when I've practiced them and accidently fallen out. Discussed in another thread was a tucked sit/drama queen to CAR.

There is also the Doom Drop...Cross Ankle Release to dead stop at floor.
Some people actually stop before they hit the floor on that one? 😂 Seriously is that the one where you are sitting up a bit so your back is parallel with the floor or do you stay lying back the whole time? Any links?

I can do the Sitting Doom and the Straight Doom.. The only other dancer I have ever seen do this is Alena Downs...she has the sitting doom in one of her videos...but I was actually able to catch her doing the Straight Doom on a 22' pole! It WAS SOOOO COOL!! She just let go of her ankles and dropped like a rocket!! That's the same vid I first saw the seated version on....I don't believe I've ever seen her do the straight one! That must look great!. I first saw the "death drop" (crucifix drop) to the floor when Fawnia and I went to a local strip club in Chicago....the girl was on about an 18 foot pole and not only dropped super fast but arched her chest out suddenly at the bottom so that her body fell a bit further. It was incredible because you thought she had already hit the floor with her face before your mind registered that she arched forward! Unfortunately she came up to talk to us and was so high she could barely slur her words out!!! 🙁

just watched all the vids in this thread...WOW!! 😀 Veena..the new one you are doing is called the Jasmine Drop..you can use it to go into an aysha, SM, oposing gemini or even a flag dismount!! That is one of Jenyne's signature moves!! nice! I watch that move again and again to see what I can drop it to!

Thank you Empy for the list of drops and links too!!! 🥂 No, I have not giving my latest drop a name....I do another drop, its a Knee hold then a drop into the Shoulder Dismount. Its really scary 😲 I Know I have a vid of it but can't seem to remember which one or where it is, I love my shoulder mounts and dismounts!
Knee hold to SM...interesting. My SM is my strongest move so it's my favorite too.

I learned it off this exact video. Alena is the only one I have ever seen do this. I would love to see the straight version! The woman is incredible. I was amazed at how easy the Jasmine Drop really is. I find it hard to play with this one at home though. It almost started looking like a mistake as we kept rewinding and watching, lol! But I think both Jen and I got it the night we saw the vid 🥂
