Pole dancing shorts. Help. Need your opinion :D

Hello everyone, I've been wanting to create a fashion line for years. But procrastination, excuses, fear, and everything inbetween has stopped me from bringing my dreams to life. Just completed a 3 day seminar and it has changed my attituded towards everything. Had emotional talks with family and am newly motivated with my business. For anyone who wants to squeeze more out of their life, professionally and personally please check out "Landmark Education". They have semiars all over the world. Both brother and sister of mine has done it, I've done it, and our relationship with each other and with our parents has changed for the bettter. Basically what I got from it was to LIVE WITHOUT FEAR, fear of looking bad, embarassment, failure, hurt. We all create the fear and we live according to those fear, and if you really looked at yourself you'll see all the little silly things you do because of fear. And all those little silly things create the big silly things and you live your life being....silly and thus not living the life you really want. Letting go of fear is very liberating 😀 One LIfe, One Go Late last year till early this year I made and sold pole dancing shorts and bikinis on ebay. That went quiet well so I decided to start a proper business. This was a long time ago, and nothing has been done since. Now, I've started it up again and am positive in my outlook. No more procrastination and excuses! I would love to have a few questions answered from you lovely pole dancers, like a survey. I would appreciate any input. I've designed booty shorts for poling in two styles, 'moderate' and 'skimpy'. Moderate has more coverage whereas skimpy shows off A LOT of cheek, however MODERATE is still very sexy and shows a little cheek. Question, you prefer: - Full coverage shorts (No ass showing at all) - Medium coverage (Most of the ass covered, with a slither of cheek showing 😂 ) - Minium coverage (Like a brazilian style short, where half your cheeks are showing 🤸 🤸 🤸) Question 2 If you had to choose which of the above to wear to the beach as swimwear, which one would you choose? I personally would choose the medium coverage. I like for my shorts to come up just bellow my belly button. Only cause I am a bigger girl and like for my after baby pooch to be covered. GOOD LUCK w/ your business and it sounds like you are off to a good start 👍

I am a minimum coverage type girl i like my bum and most of my students end up wearing the tiny booty shorts too all sizes look good in them some of the bigger girls just wear longer tanks or tshirts with them. Also wear minimum at the beach

I would be a minimum to medium coverage girl. But here's my think. I have a smaller booty. I wish it were rounder, I work on it. . . you know but it's just not that round. So I would like a short that is smaller in the back. I always feel like I should roll the top down in the back one roll or so. Maybe I'm the only one, but I'd like a short designed for the baby's got less back girls. Maybe that could be your various sizes. Baby's got back, less back and more back 🙂 Good luck to you. i like moderate hiphuggers, in pretty colors! But black is better for me. maybe you can find glittery fabric! I went to a Landmark forum thing....... I wont get into it -_- maybe it was just that one meeting, but yeaa. good luck.

for poling, i want shorts that cover the butt from behind (so that when i show my videos to people, they can see that im wearing shorts, not underwear) , but have no material running down the inside of thighs (so kind of like underwear, to help with the grip). hope this helps 🙂

I like the minimum coverage myself coz I love my bum BUT I would want to buy something that covered my bum entirely from behind too (nope, not even a sliver of cheek), so I that I could have G rated pics to show friends/family.

Yeah, the skimpy (minimum coverage) shorts would suit those with 'less back' lol I made it so that it emphasizes the roundness of the cheeks. They won't be underwear, they will be made of cotton fleecey. And they won't have the long inside leg seam. Yes, I like to have both options as well. As the moderate (medium coverage) shorts might show some cheek, depending how much bum you've got 😀, I'll have to look into designing some shorts where there is a slightly longer inside leg seam.

Hey rubberstarlet, did you go the the intro night thing or the actual seminar? Was it the 'heavy selling' part. That put me off too. They also sell during the seminars too which pissed me off. But at the end of the day, I got what I wanted from it. Thanks for the input hun haha it was some sort graduation for the members who passed. but it feelt like a scam. me and my friend and her husband got into a fight because they were judging me for not joining!along with members i dont know O_x they said i was scared and closed minded. and telling me shit i already knew. and the classes are more then $300. plus i heard stuff from there speech, I dident want to. not saying its bad, but i couldent understand it. the one i went to just wanted your $$$.

Thought I'd put my twopenneth in here 😀 It's more about (how shall I put it?!) "undercarriage" coverage for me 😂 I'd like to have some shorts that were short, but had enough to keep you decent when you do splits, etc. There's nothing worse than seeing someone's dinner. As far as bum coverage, I would probably opt for a medium coverage and a full coverage pair so I had a bit of variety 😉

I like the medium to full coverage. I'm 50, but still have a nice bum, but I have an awful vertical scar (from 3 surgeries) that starts just below my belly button. I have a hard time finding anything to wear. They either are too low or too high on the belly. I'd like something below the belly button. I like the shorts that have the gathers on the sides. I have short legs and it gives them some length.

Ok...so my favorite shorts are from S factor...I ordered them on a whim and I wish I could find some on line cheaper! They are perfect for keeping the rearend in check but they sit low on the hips (which I like) and they have the adjustable gathering on the sides. These are full coverage in the butt, but they sit low on the hips....so I don't feel like i'm wearing granny panties! HEHE! 😀

I have two pairs of the same shorts, Roxy, and adore them! They don't really have the same ones anymore, but they have similar ones with their logo on it - I likely won't buy more. I like all different styles, honestly. When I'm trying to show off moves to friends who aren't into pole dancing, I prefer full coverage. When I dance with my friends, as it is now, we mostly dance in boycut, or hipster style underwear. I'd be interested in buying all different types though, to be honest.

First of all, congratulations on your new view on life & positive attitude- it's very motivating & inspiring, and i really do believe that you will succeed. 😀 As for the pole shorts- i prefer all 3 types, because it depends on my mood & and who i'm dancing for. The only thing that i dont like wearing are skin-tight shorts, like spandex.. i find them very unflattering. Something like a really short jersey-type shorts seem the most appealing to me. And like someone else said, i too ALWAYS have to roll the top at least 2 times on every shorts that i own.. so yeah, low riders would be really nice!! For the beach, i'd probably wear moderate - minimum. Good luck with your business!! 🥂

I would prefer the medium size I think but I only pole at a studio - when I get my pole at home I would maybe use the minimum coverage ones. I think - like some other girls have said - that all of the different sizes would be good for different occasions though! Good luck! And don't forget to let us know when you've got the product finished 🙂 -x-

I prefer full coverage considering most people's "full coverage" is about a medium coverage or less (depending on design) for me and I would love to find shorts that actually keep my butt covered when I want it covered. I don't care at home or in the studio but for some of the pole parties and such I would love to keep my corpsely white butt covered.

I almost always wear my pole shorts really low cut...keeps the muffin top away and helps keep the extra skin from flopping over! 😂 I want full coverage over the lady business!!! I don't want to flash anyone 😳 If the crotch area is too tiny I find I avoid some movements that might expose myself. hehe. I don't wanna have to get a wax job just to pole on a daily basis.....so more crotch please...um coverage that is. 😉 I really don't care if my butt shows or not... it seem like to get good crotch coverage you need a good amount of butt coverage too. I love the cut of the Hanes boy cut underwear for women...if someone could make a pole short like that I would love it! 🥂 I actually cut apart an old pair of mine when I first started poling to make a pattern. I only had some terrible material to use and it worked, but they had no give to them because of the material, and I seemed to have lost the pattern when we moved out here to CA. Ok enough rambling, two things I look for... 1 crotch coverage 2 low cut/sits on hips.... or can I roll it down and make it low cut. 🤓

I like full coverage or maybe a sliver of cheek. Problem is, i can't find badonkadonk sizes! My tushy is an 8 or 10, but the rest of me is more f a 6/7, and i'm short.

Veena, muffin top, you? Never! Your body is in awesome shape. I love it 😀 Most of you want hiphuggers, which I prefer also. But there's a few that would like it to sit a little higher. The problem with this though is that it'll make your butt look long and bigger then it is. I'll see if there's someway to cater for those who wants a bit more belly coverage but still make it look flattering. At the moment, the only way to make the higher waist flattering is to have minimum butt coverage, so there's less material on your backside. And I definitely agree with more crotch coverage! lol I don't like any length (even a short one) down the legs while I'm pole dancing as I use every inch of my legs up to my crotch. The shorts I've designed don't have any length down the legs but the leg openings are 'binded'. This means the openings gently hug your legs so as to not gape open. So no 'dinner' views lol I like full coverage or maybe a sliver of cheek. Problem is, i can't find badonkadonk sizes! My tushy is an 8 or 10, but the rest of me is more f a 6/7, and i'm short. 😂 lucky you! I say embrace it and go for minimum coverage! Seems like I should do all three coverage. My #1 wish is larger sizes for us ladies with queen-size bums (I have 43" hips, lots of padding on an already big frame 😲 ) 🥂 In pole class, I prefer full coverage, to not flash anyone and calm my butt-self-conciousness. I also wear undies under my shorts (not when I play at home in a bikini, of course), and I don't like when undie peeks out 😮 At home, I pole in everything from full coverage to what I believe is "bikini cut" in the underwear department. My butt is definitely not made for thongs and super-skimpy cuts... Same for my bikinis, but at the beach or the pool I'm not shaking my butt 😉 I totally agree on good crotch-coverage (no wax for me...). on the top - I like anything between hip-hugger (right under the hip bones - not too low, because I hate when my butt crawls out on top when sitting down... 😕 and I have a high waist/long lower back) and just under the belly button. And I like cotton with a little spandex. so my main points in summary: 1. X...L size 2. crotch coverage ... and then I'd put all 3 cuts on my wish list 🥂 🥂 Multiple colors??? 🌈 Can't wait!!! 🤸 🤸 🤸

I'd like a pair that would STAY PUT. My shorts always either roll down at the waist or creep up at the hems. I don't want to have to keep pulling my shorts up or down. Maybe some of that rubbery no skid stuff they use in strapless dresses? 🤔 And the wierd thing is it's not like I can predict which will happen.
