Pole Dance Heroes

Lately I've been hearing about these "new" pole stars that are coming out of the woodwork. This got me thinking about all the underground talent that we might be missing out on. I'd like to compile a list of /dancers that have inspired or influenced you and your style. I think this is a great way for beginners and seasoned dancers alike to find new inspiration. What I'd like to know (and I'm sure so would many others) is: Who are some of your pole/dance heroes? Why are you drawn to his/her style? Pole inspiration has taken many forms for me. I was inspired by a breakdancer the other day and a ballerina the day after that! Famous/not famous, poler/non-poler. I want to know!

My pole dance heroes would denitely be Vladimir Karachunov and Steven Retchless, these guys are just simple amazing! I loves stevens performance at the 2012 pole art, his performance and transitions were very strong, masculine, and graceful pole art 2012 - http://youtu.be/CdQpcKpRAzU Fun with Vladimir- http://youtu.be/1lmejPu2CPk I can see myself competting in this competition! Heck I am going to compete in that competition!! I just have to continue working on myself and traning

@ senrysa: I love his style too. its more of the strength, but he's so fluid in all his movements, they're all calculated... I'm starting to steal tricks from him -- if I could ever do them....lol on a side note, i'm obsessed with his move at 2:40, does anyone know what it is called??? I can do it, for a bit, but last time I slipped and (of course) managed to twist my ankle on the pole.....don't ask, I'm accident prone....lol

Oona Kivela change my every thought about pole dancing! She is so amazing. The idea had never occured to me that poling could more than just sexy dance time.... yes I'm ashamed. I saw her and instantly changed my perspective and started diving in to all the aspects of pole dance I could start experiencing. Obviously by my videos and pics this was not very long ago... lol Oona Kivela is my amazing!!!!!
