Pole climbs on a short pole?

Hellooo all.... I am a self taught poler with a pole at home - ceilings are just under 8 foot :-( i do the various pole climbs, side ones etc etc BUT im 5ft7 so i can climb about one and a half times before i bang my head (of course this has never happened :-/) anyway of building strength/stamina to climb high with out climbing high hahah?!? .... OK OK its does sound silly when wrote down but i sure some one may have a tip..... x

I have the same problem my pole is sooooo short :( I just do scissor lifts to the top only using my arms then come back down to the bottom And do it over and over. Stupid short poles :( lol

If you're taking the lessons I show you how to work with a short pole during climbs. Basically you'll stay in crucifix and release the legs just enough to slide back down the pole.
