Please can I have your top tips for getting in, staying in and getting out? I have had most success coming from open V cradle hold but can't get the pelvis flip tilting the body down without falling out of it. Thanks! Ps: Veena I would love a lesson on this, and the Lux which is very similar, if you feel like making a vid!

I have done both poisson and reverse poisson, but it's been a minute and I can't remember which is which or how I got in and out. o.O I am poling tonight though and if I get time I will try to play with it!

Posted this awhile back, but my entrance is very slow so maybe of help: https://instagram.com/p/2m-Qj7mUPa/ Really pull with that top arm and push with the bottom. That push pull action is almost like a split grip feel. It's very similar to a superman except the extra stability comes from the split grip action and allows you to move your legs into the poisson position. You can kind of see the pressure that is applied to my inner thigh of the raised up leg here, that also helps grip. To do lux you would simply straighten the bent leg but everything else is the same. Def requires a fair amount of back flexibility and the more I arch my back the more secure I feel. But the back arch comes from the push down from the the bottom hand and the pulling back towards the pile of the top hand more vs just trying to just arch my back (if that makes sense). That reinforcement of the push pull acts to create the arch as well as provide the tension required for stability. You can maybe think of it like an extended pole sit where your legs are scissored/not together. When you are leaning back you are pushing with the bottom hand and pulling with the top and most of the pressure on the legs is in the top thigh. The same principle applies here, you are just face down instead and with a more exaggerated arch.

Watching Lucca's vid (which is gorgeous), I do poisson totally different! So nevermind. LOL.

This is one of those moves that I didn't know had a name! You can go into a split from this position as well, is there a name for that split?

I do this from an extended butterfly - the extended leg (outside) comes back to the pole and the inside leg drops down as you open your chest to the floor. Inside leg can be bent or straight...Lucca Valentine, love your entry. Would like a sloooower vid so I can follow your moves...
