Pleaser Shoes Width

I just bought a pair of Pleaser Delight-608UV shoes. http://www.shoebuy.com/pi/pleas/pleas242604_136271_jb.jpg I got them in the same size I have gotten in their shoes before but my foot will not fit into the toe/foot strap. My feet are a little on the wide side but not enough that I have ever had to buy a wide shoe. So anyway my question is if anyone knows if I order a size larger if that will help at all or will it just be the same? Does anyone else have a problem with the Pleaser shoes width and have a trick for shoving your foot in there? 🙂 I just don't know if I should ship them back for a size exchange or just find a different style shoe? I really want to get a blacklight shoe that is 6" or less heel. So if anyone has any recomendations I would love to hear them. Thanks!

I have the same shoes bit in white. When I got them they were way too tight so I decided to go for the next size up. Now my toes hang out of the shoe :(

heat the plastic with a hairdryer it will stretch a bit.

I was just about to type what Nymph stated. They are intentionally made this way because the plactic STRETCHES. On a side note....Duck Tape comes in all sorts of neon colors. I oranged out the bottoms of my boots recently for a black light party we went to. It only lasted the night as I scuffed them up pretty good dancing but it was $5 a roll + 30 minutes of my time.

@chem - I was actually looking at some of that online last night. The stuff that actually says it glows is pretty pricey but there was some Duck brand tape in neon and I was wondering if it would glow in the blacklight. Do you remember what the brand was that you used? I was also looking into acrylic blacklight neon paint and wondering how well that would work if I painted it on clear shoes......

@nymph - That is a great idea. Will it stay shaped to the size of my foot once I do it? Also will it damage the plastic at all?

I also covered a belt and a pair of earrings with the tape and made myself a bracelet with it too. Acrylic paint will not stay on the clear shoes...it is water based. Nail polish however will but you will not be able to get it opff without destroying the plastic underneath.

Well thanks to the blow dryer trick I was able to stretch the plastic just a bit and now the shoes fit alright. So I wore them to my blacklight pole class tonight and was heartbroken to see a huge scuff all the way up the back of the heel after class! What the heck?! I only wore them for about 40 min and was doing pretty low impact dancing. I can't even think of anything I could have done to scuff them. Even if I had though shouldn't shoes as expensive as these hold up better?! They were made to dance in so it seems they should be more resistant to wear. Part of the scuff completely took the pink coating off! So sad now!! 🙁

Welcome to the shoe destruction. None of the sites will state that the shoes are made for pole dancing and none of the companies will back their shoes if you use them to pole. This is an ongoing dilemma for pole dancers and just something we kind of "deal" with. Basically they are designed for you to strut around in and take pictures and that is it.

Darn, if I would have known the color coating was going to be so fragile I would have just stuck with clear shoes! Oh well, too late now. I wore em' and scratched em' so i guess they are mine now. 🙁 I will just make sure to only buy really cheap clearance priced shoes from now on so that I don't feel so ripped off when they get damaged the first time I use them. @chem - The neon tape on your boots looked awesome! I will definitely be trying that little trick.
