Hi All, I just wanted to get everyone's feedback on Pleaser (and their associated brands) shoes...specifically their fit. I just got my first pair, and bought them from Ebay. I'm just wondering if people find they fit smaller or larger than they should. Thanks, Sarah

I'm a size 9 and my pleasers always fit just right. The Bordello line though (i think thats pleaser) runs small but i still buy in my size and just squeeze into them 😂 but they are closed toe so you couldnt tell on the outside...

The first pair I bought I found came up a little big and I ended up sending that back because they didn't feel secure enough (no ankle strap, and leather so they didn't stick to feet either). I'm a UK 6 and that's what I ordered.. But I was looking at the sizing chart on the Pleaser website, it only has UK sizes in half sizes, so I assume what I actually got must have been a US 9 which they reckon is actually UK 6.5? Sorry I know that's probably not much help if you're in Canada.. but I'm also interested to hear what other people say because I'm about to order some different ones to the ones I sent back and am not sure whether to try going for the UK '5' and hope it comes up as bigger or just stick to a 6.. Was thinking about their new 'springolator' range - has anyone tried these? They look so comfy!

I am a 6.5 and had to order a seven because they were not available in half sizes. They fit like a regular 7 would so i think they run true to size. The first time i went for a 6 and they were too snug.

i'm a 7.5 generally- a 7 in aldo, a 38.5 in louboutins, and a 7.5 in nikes/pumas... and i always get a 7 in pleaser and they fit perfectly. ellies always fit too wide in the toe box and i get the "stripper toe" where my toes hang out over the front!
With Pleasers if they are boot style or closed toe I have to get a 10 and they are a bit big on me. For sandal styles I go with a 9. I typically wear a 9.5. I also have had issues with Ellie running too wide, and I have wide feet! I think the Ellie boots that I have (well, technically Penthouse) I bought as 9's and they are perfect!
Hello, I bought my first pair of pleasers and I'm so glad they fit well. 😀 I got a 7 although I am anywhere from a 6.5-7.5 depending on brand and style. I find them slightly tight, but not uncomfortably so...I would rather they stay on rather then fall off. 😉
With Pleasers, I have to buy a 9 since a 10 is too big. At first they are a little tight since I am a 9.5 but after I break them in they are perfect!
Ok girls I've had lots of attempts buying comfy pleaser shoes so here goes! My first three pair of pleasers were bought at the same time. One was closed toe ballet pump style, one was open toe with straps round the whole foot (both 2inch platform) and the last an open toe mule with a 1.5 inch platform. I bought size 6's as thats my normal size and they were all too small... but in different ways! Close toes were too small length ways but comfortable width ways Strappy sandles were ok but my toes were pushed forward so much they looked ridiculous hanging over the edge! The mules were unwearable as they were far too small and far too tight. The closed toe are my photo shoes as I can't walk in them at all as they cripple my feet but I can put them on and the open toe mules cant even be used for photos as they are so uncomfortable to wear 🙁 I then bought a size 7 and they are purple 2 inch platform mules which have two large straps across the front to hold your foot in (great for grip when climbing). These fit much better but they are very slightly too big so I didn't feel too comfortable flinging my legs around the pole. However, I put half insoles in these and now I can pole in them. After that I bought another pair (size 7) of mules similar too the size 6 ones I had, thinking that because the first pair were sooo small, the 7 in theory, should fit perfectly.... but no! The 7 were huge and so big even insoles made no difference. I have since given up on lower platform mules 🤔 So I bought yet another pair of pleasers thinking that somehwre out there, there must be a pair that fit (and also I managed to pick them up cheap from ebay 😳). These ones were black size 7 with an ankle strap. They actually fit (yey!) although the strap round the toes digs in a bit after a while but I can still pole well in these so they're keepers. The next pair were size 7 showgirl style (the ones in my profile picture). I bought these because I wanted the security of having my foot fully strapped in and also the grip at the front from the clear material. These are the most comfortable shoes ever! I finally found a pair of pleasers I could genuinely walk about in all day. They dont even feel like your wearing high heels because of the platform. I dont need insoles and I can swing my feet around as much as I like without thinking my shoes will fly off. I would highly recommend the showgirl style to anyone wanting they're first pair of pleasers. I would however, recommend getting ones with a completely clear platform as that means the strap where the buckle is will be the same plasticy material as the rest of the shoe (my platform is silver and the strap was also silver and was a different, flimsy material which consequently broke.... luckily I managed to fix it with ribbon but it's best not to t=get these to save you the hassle!) So despite the broken buckle strap, the showgirl shoes are amazingly comfy. To conclude (lol 👽), I would definitely get a size up if in normal shoes you are edging towards a 6.5 but all in all.... it seems to be a bit of a guessing game when ordering over the internet. I actually posted a topic similar to this a while ago asking if anyone knew of a shop where you could try pleaser shoes on but as far as I know there doesn't seem to be one..... do let me know if anyone finds one! (NB: I'm from the UK so american sizes are different but the theory of this essay should be the same 😁 hehe)

I have 3 pairs of Pleasers and I love them - a pair of 7" clear ones, a 5" pair of black ones, and a pair of 7" thigh-high boots. I have no problems with any of them, except the toe strap on the black pair is a hair loose - however, after wearing them for a while and my feet swell a bit, I don't even notice. I wore those shoes walking across Manhattan on my way to the USPDF National Comp. earlier this year and I wouldn't have been able to do that if they didn't fit well! 😜 I normally wear about a 7.5 in those types of shoes and I got my Pleasers in a 7 (they don't have half sizes, or at least they didn't then...). If you're concerned about sizing, make sure you order them from a site that has a good exchange/refund policy. I got my shoes from shoebuy.com. Sometimes the shoes stretch out over time - like a couple others have mentioned - so ordering a bit on the small side might be a good idea. 🙂
