Pics of new moves...please critique?

So I've been working on what are new moves for me, with the help of Veena's lessons, and have added the Gemini, Advanced Plank and Inverted Thigh Hold to my repertoire. I got the hubby to take some pics when I felt comfortable with them and was hoping for some pointers, or critiques. Just a word of explanation...the hubby is so happy to see me on a pole, he forgets I need pics showing my form, not my "form" so I apologize for the angles! 😀 Thanks, Sarah

you look good, how do you critique yourself? are you still going for your own style? meaning some people add flare with pointed ballet toes and "spirit fingers"...congrats on all your progress. (btw, my suggestions don't have too much weight because I currently don't have any pics or vids posted)

I specifically think of them before I start, but once I get into the correct positions, the toes go directly out the window! 😂 Anyway, I'm too embarrassed to post video, so I don't have any up myself, but all thoughts are welcome since I'm still learning.

sarah, i think these look great! 🥂 if you want an idea of how to make these moves a little more extended, here are some ideas: advanced plank: http://poleart.org/Images/jbbio.jpg onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; i think this move looks nicest when you really bring that lower hand as far down as you can and arch your hips up into it, making sure to also focus on keeping your feet low. you can also point both feet 😀 gemini: http://images.craveonline.com/article_imgs/Image/pole_dancing.jpg onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; i like to try to keep the calf of the hooked knee parallel to the floor, with the straight leg also parallel. to get that straight leg down, it helps to really push your hips forward and into the pole and open your hips.

Love the pics, especially Advanced Plank, very pretty! I did this ONCE clumsily and just can't get it again. Hope to get it soon, maybe with some help at a workshop 🙂 What are some tips as to how you got it? 🤔

Your moves are looking really nice and solid. Now you can do as others have suggested and start working on pointed feet and slight variations! Well done 🥂 🥂 Hooked....have you looked at the NEW lesson on the Advance plank?

I'm still working on the pointed toes. I specifically think of them before I start, but once I get into the correct positions, the toes go directly out the window! 😂 i still do that too! 😂
