After seein a post from a fellow veneer was wondering if any1 had overcome a drug addiction and found that pole has helped them a lot in their recovery from it? As I said if in being to personal just ignore me, lol. xx

Av beat an addiction my self hun. And I've found that pole has really helped me a lot in my recovery. I've been clean for 2yrs thin January xx
2 yrs is fantastic congrats! Ur brave coming out on SV with it, I was nervous wen I did it. It's an amazing achievement and I wish u the best of luck in ur recovery xx

Personally no, however there is a studio owner in Ohio who has and pole was a big part of it. Pole Spin had even done an article on her back in April. Her name is Emily Kreusler and she is not shy at all to talk about it. I was trying to find an electronic verson of the article but I have been unsuccessful.

I am a Pole Studio owner. Pole has DEFINATELY helped me in my continuing recovery! I'm a recovering addict/alcoholic. I have been clean and sober for 31 years, God willing 32 January 23rd 2013. I use pole to reflect, express, to meditate. It has brought my self esteem way up and my confidence! I stopped having panic attacks completely about 4 1/2 years ago. I've had some really rough times, but pole is a safe and healthy outlet for me! I can't say enough about it! I was also featured in Pole Spin almost 2 years ago. I'm going to be 57 this New Years Eve. :)
