Hi! I finally got my Xpert (YAaaayyyy) with permanent mount, the thing is that I need to buy the screws but I dont know the diameter size for it, and nobody is answering in the xpole costumer service, if anybody knows, great, if not I will keep trying, or try to measure them

Sorry, I have a mount, but I'm not sure. I want to say it came with a couple screws, but my husband put it up & I don't remember

It doesn't come with screws: you select based on what material you're attaching it to eg masonry, steel, etc

thank you, they finally answered the phone, and I should go to home depot with the mount and talk to them, they dont know the diameter.
My permanent mount came with screws but like GG357 and hubby put it up. Good luck!

Ok so I have the screws,, dril, dril pits and all the stuff I need, and now when I am measuring the beams to put the stuff up, I see that there are some AC warning, for wires.... Idk what to do I am afraid to dril

Hi Sofi, First of all, with all the gals here saying that hubby put theirs up, happy to hear that you don't need a man to do this for you! (Having been raised by a single mom, she's empowered me to learn to use power tools!) What's your ceiling made of? If it's concrete, you'll need a concrete bit (which can be purchased at your local home center, just bring along the screws so they know what size bit to give you). Also, you'll need an anchor for the screws. These are usually little tubes made of plastic that open up once the screw is put in. If your ceiling is wood, you've got a slightly easier time of it. Find a beam. Best way is to turn down the music and knock on the wood till you find an area that doesn't sound hollow. Tap to the left and right and forward and backward to find the direction of the beam. Next, drill holes. Here you have to be careful not to hit an electricity line. If you have ceiling light fixtures or a ceiling fan, the easiest way to avoid any electricity lines is if you don't drill on the [invisible] lines that connect the walls and cross at the fixture. I hope that makes sense. If it's cement, put your anchors into the holes. You'll probably need a hammer for this. Then, for wood and cement, attach according to the mount's instructions. Down the line when you leave said home or just want to remove the holes, you can use plaster or caulk to fill the holes. A dab of white paint and your landlord will never know they were there. Hello, thank you and I am sorry to disappoint you, my boyfriend is helping me to do this, although I could do it by myself, (my mom is also a very handy do it ourself woman) but its his house and he is more handy with tools (he used to work as a contractor) We have everything we need to use it, the beams are wood and I found them with a stud fnder that doesnt work thaaat great but its ok, the problem is that there is a wire warning int he stud finder and we dont know what to do, because the thing is not that accurate, and if we drill in the wire... well, bad idea. I was just wondering if maybe somebody had the same issue or something, I am doing it with a piece of wood attached to two beams and the mount in the middle of it, thats what we are trying ot do at least, but we cant get inside the roof on the area of this room so we have to do everything form the inside (the walls are made of that like thick hard textured cardboard) thank you very much for your time.
i had a contractor put mine in because it was 11 feet in the air. he bought bolts and put a few washers between the bolt and the mount. just bring the mount to the hardware store and tell them what material you are installing them in. I dont know what to tell you about the wire warning- sorry.

yeah my boyfriend bought those bolts and washers, he was talking to some guys today, apparently about the wires there is some tests he can do not to hit the wires while drilling, and it should be fine, now i just need to get him up there to work :P, no he is an angel he will do it but it takes time

We do not provide the screw sizes for the permanent mount because it depends entirely on what material you are drilling into: wood, metal, concrete, and drywall all require different size screws so we recommend that you take the block mount to your local hardware store and ask them which screws will work best for your ceiling material.
