I'm noticing that every time I point my toes my left foot cramps a very bad. it is extremely painful does anyone have any tips to make this stop happening?

do you drink a lot of water... apparently thats supposed to help prevent cramping, also do calf exercises that might help as well
I probably dont drink enough water. But it only seems to be my left foot. Ill have to increase my water and try more training on that side

Hi Betsy. Eat a banana before you pole!!! The potassium is great for reducing muscle cramping. Water is definitely essential as well!!
Hi girls, so I am cramping also during the ballet classes when I don't get enough magnesium. that helps in my case a lot. plus, I tend to cramps when I am stressed. water is definitely also great. hope it gets better, sweetie. big hug

Yes, definitely magnesium for cramp (I was advised by the Dr at the Sleep Clinic to take magnesium to help with Restless Leg Syndrome). My husband gets leg cramps at night - he takes tablets called Magnesium with Cramp Bark.
Drinking two things has diminished my soreness & cramping a great deal: drinking coconut water at least 2x a day & protein drinks w/banana (30 mins-1 hour after pole sessions). Also including foot exercises in your warm up, helps tons as well.
