one mans trash is another polers treasure ^o^

haha so last night we came home from drinking and out infront of one of the garbage cans .. was a large mirror.. me drunk.. omg baby can i have it can i have it! sure.. he says lol so we pull into our apt.. im like ok lets get in the suv n go back down there and get it! rofl so we went back down and got it ^^ me drunk put it in the suv just fine.. we get back to the apt and i was just gonna leave it in there but like he was gonna bring it up so i was like ok.. him trying to pull it out.. he broke it T___T it was like 1/3 of it but yea still kinda upset me that he broke it but its still pretty decent size.. and FOR FREEEEE!!!

I've considered looking around for free mirrors too! Great idea

yea my first mirror i got it free from craigslist =) it was an older couple and they were like yea its been in our basement for how long, and it was a closet door mirror u know the slidies so yea i got lucky on that ^^ doesnt hurt to try

oh yeah! i´m a trash rat! i´ve found the most wonderful things! i cannot pass a skip without taking a peek! i´m planninning on mirroring a wall somewhere in the near future, but in the meantime i´ve been using 4 old mirrored wardrobe doors i found in a skip at the end of my street. one is unfortunately a fat mirror and another has a funky reflection and they´re all different sizes and not very big but it sure beats dancing to a white wall! and all i spent were some extra calories lugging them home one at a time as fast as possible before someone else came by to snatch them up! 😀

Oh no! He should have left the mirror for the next day when ya'll were sober! 🙁 If it is one clean cut across maybe you can glue them onto a board or something... You'll have a big mirror with a crack across it but oh well??
