old 50mm x-pole sport...any issues?

Hi all! I've been out of practicing pole for some time, but I never got rid of it! It's about 9 years old at this point, and wanted to make sure I didn't miss some massive recall or news about it. Or any anecdotal evidence that says maybe get a new pole. My new apartment seems to have the exact wrong height ceilings so that the thread at the bottom is at its max... Thanks!
