Oh no...a nick in my new chrome Xpert!

No idea how it got there. About the size of a grain of sand, but I *see* it. Its in the chrome. I can feel it when my hand is on it. It doesnt scratch me, but it sent my OCD through the roof. Should i ignore it? Can i fix it? should i try ti lightly sand it, or will it make it worse? gah. think it will get bigger like nicked chrome does on bike handles? help?
