Notification Separation

I always seem to be alternating between having notifications and no notifactions because if I have them- they BLOW UP MY INBOX, but if I don't, I have no clue what's going on. Can there be an option to subscribe to different types of notifications, or maybe just a daily notification? Or any way that I can be like, "Oh, someone left a comment on my profile!" without receiving the 230r3043 responses to a forum topic I only casually entered.

You can "unfollow" a forum thread, should be a link in the first email, or when you actually make the post, scroll up to the top and unfollow it right then 🙂

ooh, well, they say prevention is the best remedy! Now I have to go check what other commentable items have this unfollow button! LOL
