Not quite vertical

balletgurlie started this discussion ·

So I've gotten pretty comfortable with a good variety of moves (though my body still goes stupid on the cradle, it's getting better though) and I'm to the point where my basic invert is smooth 95% of the time. So me and my roomie have been working on some other inverts. Well, after mastering the crucifix and the gemini, we have decided to move on to the chopper and the butterfly. The butterfly will be fine once we get the arm position down. I can get up into the chopper but my back is rounded and it's putting some stress on it. I'm not sure why, but I'm not quite going vertical. Any pointers to help?
