Heeeeyy, Im Nikkita 23 from GA I became a member to get to know other women who enjoy this thing called pole dancing and to also get tips on buying and working da pole. Im just really intrigued by pole dancing. I haven't taken classes and I dont own a pole but I really want to learn to do this! I can't wait to get started on my pole journey and journaling this experience with people who enjoy as much or even more than I do. Thanx. 😀

Hey Nikkita!! Glad you joined us here! Sorry it took me so long to welcome ya! It's hard to keep up with these forums! Whew!!! If you are pole shopping, the majority of us here are hardcore X-Pole fans to the death!!! X-Pole I believe is by far the best portable dance pole on the market! I guess it could be expensive if you compare it to other poles but major word of caution...if you get a cheap pole you get what you pay for. Peak-a-boo, carmen electra, my sexy pole, are very unsafe and really only for dancing around the pole and looking cute. They aren't for exercising or doing any tricks. If you have flat ceilings then X-Pole is the way to go. If you have a vaulted ceiling you might want to look into a Lil Mynx Pole. I haven't tried one of those myself but if you want more information about dance poles, check out our Dance Poles section in the site! Thank you! thank you! thank you everyone... for the welcome! I myself am in love with the x pole. I don't have a pole but I definately have been researching via youtube and google lol to find out as much as I can about pole dancing and poles. I'm tempted to buy one from this site since theres a special going on. Im so tired of watching everyone else enjoy pole dancing while Im sitting on the sidelines! I want to too! lol =]

One other thing.. which x pole is better (I know I want 50mm) But what finish ..The Chrome or Titanium? 🤔

I think it depends on your personal preference. The titanium is formulated to have more grip than the chrome. I as a male went with the Titanium because I do more "static poses" than "spins". My spins are pretty horrible actually LOL 😂 I've never used a chrome before so I don't really know how to compare them plus I'm also fairly new myself. I've only been poling 3 weeks. Although now I do wish I had of went with the 45mm. I think it would have been a little easier for me to use since I'm fairly small.

Thank you guys again!! I received my pole on Monday and I have taken some pictures. I was so excited!!!!! I just got finished learning how to do my first move the "fireman" You know this is a lot tougher than I thought it was gonna be but it felt so good when I finally got the move down. I felt proud of myself. 🥂 I have a respect for exotic dancers and everyone that pole dances!!!.. it requires so much skill and patience and will to do what we do!!
