hey everyone im carissa.,, i am so glad i found this site!!!!!! i just started dancing last week and i need all the help i can get. i worked thursday friday and i couldnt m,ake it thru the night on saturday i was so sore and bruised and m,y feet looked like something out of a horror movie! lol any tips are appreciatted thanks ladies!!!!

HI welcome to the site!! Try working out every other day to give your body a chance to rest. I call these "rejuvenation" days! If you happen to be taking the lessons start off by watching each of the "Getting Started" lessons for each section. They have great tips and info on structuring your pole workouts. 🌸
Hi Carissa, welcome! I agree with Veena, you need to let your body rest in between days. Poling everyday is WAY too much. Try alternating types of workouts, like if you worked on a lot of strength/tricks one day, work on transitions/spins/floorwork the other day. For me, I am able to make it to the studio quite often. I like to do some kind of workout everyday, so on the days I don't pole, (since I'm already going to the studio a lot) I'll just go for a run in my neighborhood or just have a day off or just stretch if I'm really tired.
