I searched wikipole.org to no avail.... leghang82510.jpgJadewithattitude82510.jpg I've seen these moves numerous times in other videos. I gave them both generic names but would like to know if there is an official name for these? Thanks! 😀

Hey 🙂 The second one is a jade split. Usually you straighten the back leg into a full split. Don't know what to call the first!

We call the first move the archer with hands. Its called the full archer if you let go of the bottom hand. The second move we call the stag jade. Its a full jade when both legs are split straight. 😛

I knew the second one was a variation of the jade but I'd seen someone else do it with that leg bent and again with the holding leg bent while the other one is straight. So many variations to everything. I will remember that one. 😀

The first one reminds me of the Marley, but without grabbing the feet. I have no particular name for it though. I thought the 2nd one was called a Half Jade. Or was that the other leg variation (holding leg bent, back leg straight). Or are there two varieties of Half Jade? ❓ I feel I'm not really helping 😀
At my studio they call the first a kneehold, same with the no hands version and same with the knee on the pole version... It's also very similar to Shooting Star on Wikipole.
I do a slightly different version of the second one with the back leg is lower and sometimes I grab the foot and I call it the Broken Jade haha!
