I've seen people on IG refer to it as sasja straddle or fierce straddle, named for the lovely lady in that photo :)
I would condition for side pole hold and then work on straddling your legs up like this while in the side pole hold. Maybe practice L sit progressions too, Gold Medal Bodies has some good L sit progression videos on YouTube but maybe Veena would make one too as a quick lesson if we ask nicely :)
