My X-Pole is heeeere! =D

And it is a wonderful, wonderful thing! My fiance helped me degrease it, WD-40 it, and set it up straight. The titanium feels ridiculously nice and smooth to me - I never realized before just how much the constant corrosive state of the brass pole was making it a rough surface, even with Brasso polishing every few days. Gripping hurts less on this pole, and not just my hands, but my legs, the back of my knees in Gemini, I guess the brass is just a more abrasive surface than I thought! And to finally have a floor to ceiling pole... 😀 Its downstairs for now so the ceilings aren't that high (only had to use the smallest extension) but its tall enough for me, and a huge improvement over the stage pole! It feels so much sturdier of course, no wiggling and swaying like on the stage pole, which is awesome, and now... I can SPIN! 😬 I must have spent a solid half hour just trying out every spin and hold I could think of and holding it as long as I could. I LOVE the spinning mode! I only got dizzy after I tried to do several moves in a row without slowing to a stop 😛 I'm a rollercoaster junkie so I have a high motion tolerance. But it was awesome! I may never go back to static again! Well ok maybe for learning... but spinning is my new love! Don't worry, there will be a new video soon, I promise 😁
